About Me

My name is Mar Allen B. Tubongbanua, and I’m a 3rd year IT student at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (Alijis Campus) . I didn’t get into tech because I was instantly passionate I got curious. That curiosity turned into late nights trying to fix broken code, figuring out how data flows, and realizing I enjoy working behind the scenes more than anything flashy.

What interests me most is how things function under the surface how back end systems run smoothly or break spectacularly. I’ve been learning and experimenting with Python, Flask, SQL, and PHP, trying to understand how to build systems that are both efficient and practical. Front-end stuff like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript? I know the basics, but my focus is on what powers everything underneath.

I don’t have a dream company or job title yet. I just want to work on things that matter, keep improving my skills, and one day look back and say, “I built that and it worked.

Best Works

These projects reflect my curiosity about how things work behind the scenes — from building efficient systems with Python, Flask, SQL, and PHP to exploring the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’m more drawn to the logic and structure that power web applications than just how they look on the surface. I’ll admit, I’ve made mistakes along the way — missed deadlines, group challenges — but each one taught me something valuable. What matters most to me is showing up, learning from it, and getting better. These works are small steps in that journey.

My Skills

I believe in the fact that learning never stops and I am interested in learning new technologies and programming languages that will help me design and develop a better output in less time.

IT Student

As an Information Technology student, I am deeply fascinated by what happens behind the scenes — how backend systems run smoothly or sometimes fail dramatically. I’ve been actively learning and experimenting with technologies like Python, Flask, SQL, and PHP to build systems that are both efficient and practical.
